Everyone travels differently. No matter where you go or where you're from, everyone wants to experience something different or unique even if they can't express it, or even know that they feel this way. It is what makes the hospitality and tourism industry so beautiful, every day is a new adventure because you never know who you'll meet or what they want from you.
When anyone experiences something new in the world, everyone has a different reaction. Decoding their reaction and what, if anything, stirs within them is a delicate and tedious task not many people want to do.
First and foremost, when you're planning a vacation or trip; try to figure out exactly what it is that you want to get out of it. There's a lot out there in this world of ours and there is something for all of us, we just need to be comfortable enough to seek it out. I've had dozens of conversations with people who say that they don't like to travel because it's too expensive, or too much work, or that they've gone to see the thing that they felt like they were "supposed to see" and they've been let down. Which I get, but then I get to have the conversation with them of what they were really searching for. Because if you're interested in the latest tech or fashion, you're more than likely not going to find it within an ancient French castle. Or if there is a part of you that yearns to stand in the footsteps of history and touch walls that have stood for hundreds, if not thousands of years, you probably won't find that in the heart of a bustling city like Tokyo or New York City.
