My First Steps

Today I take my first steps with this blog. Although I have found myself stepping into history before I have never looked at it with a critical eye. I'm looking forward to seeing where this blog takes me as well as how this class is going to shape my knowledge of history deeply embedded in my soul already.

<---- Me actually placing my foot in history. Fun fact: The most famous arrival to Howth, Ireland was King George IV in 1821. The story goes that he was deeply intoxicated and stubbled off the boat and left his footprints at the point where he stepped ashore on the West Pier a local stonemason took advantage of this and his footprints still stand today.
